Journalistic contest dedicated to the world’s ocean

1387804_94842767Earth Journalism Network is seeking stories that explore disruptive innovations that are creating a new future for the world’s oceans.
Competitive proposals should identify leading initiatives and individuals in engineering, science, NGOs or business. Possible topics include ocean food, ocean energy and resources, ocean tech, ocean policy, and ocean’s perceived value.
Applicants can choose one of the following story formats: longform narrative (2 500 to 5000 words), news article (500 to 1200 words) and multimedia package. The deadline to submit a proposal is March 30. More information is available here.
