Journalistic competition on the concept of ‘Space and the future of humanity’

The International movement Youth Time invites young journalists to take part in a competition on the concept of ‘Space and the future of humanity’. You are invited to explore the topic:  ‘How will the current developments in space technology affect the future of humanity’.  Entries can take any journalistic form.
The works have to be sent at: [email protected]. The authors of the 10 best works will be awarded prizes including: an amazing trip in August 2011 to the Baikonur Cosmodrome (Kazakhstan), where you will be able to watch the night launch of a space rocket, and, a guided tour dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight.
Competition Rules

Entrants must be aged between 18 and 30. The deadline for submission is 15 May 2011. Winners of the competition will be announced on 20 May 2011. The length of each entry may not exceed 7000 characters or if it is audio or video material not more than 5 mins duration. The main condition for participation is permission for the article to be published in the mass media. Each participant may send no more than 5 works.
