Journalismfund.eu announces a new call for applications for its cross-border working grant programme. Journalists with good ideas for cross-border stories can apply for research grants until Monday 16 September 2013.
Journalismfund.eu is an independent non-profit organisation based in Brussels that promotes quality cross-border and in-depth journalism in Europe. Its main way of doing this is by awarding research grants for cross-border, European stories.
In this application round we have got a total amount of €33,000 to distribute. Applications must be uploaded on the website via the online application form. The deadline for applications is Monday 16 of September 2013 at 9 am Berlin / Brussels / Rome time.

After the application deadline has passed, the secretary of the jury will first run over the applications for formalities such as necessary documents and will get in touch with applicants if needs be. The applications are handed over to the jury not later than the 23rd of September.
The jury meeting is scheduled for 27 September, although further meetings can become necessary. As soon as the last jury meeting has been held and a decision made, all applicants will be contacted. The aim for this is the first week of October or soonest thereafter.
