Online competition for journalists, students and bloggers on topics related to water has been announced. TH!NK5 Water is an initiative of the European Journalism Centre and is inspired by World Water Day – March 22.
A special Internet platform will be used in order different people to share their thoughts on the problems concerning water resources. Participants must register and then publish their first post. Contest TH!NK5 will continue until 22nd of March this year.
20 winners will be selected and they will receive financial support from the European Commission for a journalistic trip to Lisbon in April this year. Their task will be to report on local issues related to water. Winning participants may be nationals of the 27 EU member states and also Croatia, Macedonia, Turkey, Iceland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo. Travel costs of four other bloggers, who are not representatives of any of these countries, will be financed by the European Journalism Centre.
