Free course on data journalism starts on May 19


Journalists who want to incorporate data analysis into their reporting may take a free, online training. The Data Driven Journalism initiative, run by the European Journalism Centre (EJC), is offering a five-module course to teach journalists how to use data to enhance their storytelling.

The course consists of the following topics: data journalism in the newsroom, finding data to support stories, finding story ideas with data analysis , etc. The program is open to anyone in the world with an Internet connection. The course will become available online on May 19.
