Fellowship for women journalist working in the field of human rights

10419459254_dc1dcde18d_kThe International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) is accepting applications for the Elizabeth Neuffer Fellowship, named for Boston Globe correspondent who was killed in Iraq in May 2003.
The selected women journalist will spend an academic year in a tailored program with access to MIT’s Center for International Studies and media outlets like The Boston Globe and The New York Times.
Applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience in journalism, covering topics such as human rights and social injustice. An excellent written and verbal English skills is a must. Freelance journalists also may apply. The organizers cover expenses, including airfare, housing and health insurance. The application deadline is May 1.More information is available here.
