EU-sponsored trip on development to Cambodia

18900669964_80de18fdcb_oThe European Journalism Centre (EJC) invites 12 journalists to Cambodia. On a three-days long press trip, journalists from the European Union have the possibility to learn more about the cooperation in development between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the EU institutions.
The trip will be starting in the capital city, Phnom Penh, on November 18, 2015. The participants will then have the possibolity to travel to Siem Reap, close to the famous temple of Angkor Wat, where the trip will end on November 20, 2015.
The aim of the visit is to highlight development cooperation between the EU and Cambodia. Thus, journalists will take part in a briefing about the EU’s role in Cambodia, will get to know the current development agenda and visit projects sponsored by the European Union to help reduce poverty and foster sustainable development as well as human rights.
Experienced journalists covering development issues and foreign affairs will be given priority to participate in the trip. All costs will be reimbursed, the trip is planned from November 17 – 21, 2015, including arrival and departure. The organisers will also take care of all visa issues.
