Daniel Penev, a freelance journalist and a member of the Association of European Journalists – Bulgaria (AEJ-Bulgaria) has been selected in the youth board of the Index on Censorship. The non-profit organization, which defends free expression worldwide by publishing censored writers and artists, regularly selects a group of young people aged 16-25 who advise and inform Index on Censorship’s work. Those young leaders are engaged in supporting the fight for free expression around the world and ensure the commitment of the organization to fight censorship not only now, but also in future generations.
Daniel has just earned an M.A. in international relations from the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, Hungary and he is passionate about making a difference back in his home country, including by being a very active member of AEJ-Bulgaria’s team. We wish him all the best in his future career!
