The Media in Conflicts Seminar (MICS) is an academic and professional communications program presented by the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, Israel\u2019s first private institution for higher education.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">The five-day program (Aug. 31- Sept. 4) seeks to introduce journalists to the challenges of conflict reporting, help them create a professional network. Attendees will participate in lectures and workshops on conflict journalism, terrorism, defense and security, and tour Jerusalem and other conflict areas.
