press conferenceMoment magazine organizes the Daniel Pearl Investigative Journalism Initiative to encourage reporters to write in-depth stories about deeply ingrained prejudices. The selected journalist will take advantage of US$ 5 000 to complete the project and the initiative will offer mentoring from experienced journalists.
Journalists ages 22 to 38 can apply.
The program honors Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter who was killed by terrorists in 2002.The application deadline is May 1. More information is available here.
