World Press Institute (WPI) is offering three-month fellowships for experienced journalists hoping to improve their understanding of American journalism. The program aims to expose fellows to working conditions in the U.S. media.
They are required to report on a variety of social issues to see how U.S. institutions respond to different social concerns. The 2015 fellowship will begin in mid-August and it includes several US cities such as Minnesota, New York and Washington.
Applicants must have five years of full-time news experience and fluency in English. Freelancers are eligible. The deadline is Feb. 15, 2015. More information is available here.
